UMOJA Church Houston is committed to the doctrine of Grace, which aims at building a community of love, committed to the authority of the Scriptures, exposition preaching and God-centered worship. UMOJA Church Houston focuses on reaching out to all the Swahili speaking Community from all Christians’ background with the living word of God, in the city of Houston and all over the WORLD on ensuring the growth of every individual in knowing and experiencing God in their everyday life. In order to fulfill that assignment given by God, we work under Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast Synod through ELCA.
